We Provide The Following Continuing Education Courses

Medical /Dental Errors
    • This course fulfills the State of Florida’s requirement for two (2) hours of continuing education on the prevention of medical errors. Upon completion of the course, participants will be awarded a certificate entitling them to claim up to two (2) hours of credit towards their continuing education requirement. Participants should claim only those hours of credit that were actually spent on this activity.
Professional Ethics and Jurisprudence
    • To have dental professionals gain the necessary understanding to recognize their professional responsibility and competence to practice dentistry. This includes understanding how to recognize the differences between moral and legal standards of practice and how to attain a satisfactory balance in meeting both objectives. To provide dentists with the necessary information to understand the legal relationship in a professional relationship—dentist/patient—their responsibility with the confidentiality of patient records, and the legal ramifications for failing to meet this requirement. To provide a thorough guideline in understanding record-keeping requirements, common malpractice complaints for failing to document properly, and most commonly reported violations for failing to document and follow recommended and required practice guidelines.
